Mary's been dead for a few years now, and John Winchester is ever deeper on the path to revenge. He just keeps hitting walls, but along the way, he's made allies- Bobby, Ellen and her husband William, Missouri Mosely, and he's made his fair share of enemies, too.

Under this burning need for retribution, though, is a deeper need to protect his children, even if he is bringing them into the very life that Mary wanted to keep them away from.

Sam and Dean Winchester, too young to really understand the full weight of their father's journey, are fighting to survive- demons and school. Constantly place between two worlds, this is their story.
